Motown Christmas Party
On Saturday November 28th, a nostalgic, feel-good evening will take place in a lovely old church in the heart of Oak Bay.
Checo & the Victoria Sweet Soul Choir will take you back to those Christmas Parties from years ago when singing and dancing started up in the kitchen or the rec room.
Remember those times? If ever there was another time for a carefree night like this, it’s right about now. With songs of the Temptations and the Fifth Dimension, alongside Motown-style Christmas Carols, like the lively favourite, “Go Tell it on the Mountain,” and the Sam Cooke classic, “Having a Party,” this soul-lifting choir will put a smile on your face.
This performance will feature Fateh Care Charity, a local start-up nonprofit that assists seniors, individuals with disabilities, newcomers, and low-income families across the Victoria CRD.
